The VESL All Natural Wood Series are crafted out of real Paulownia wood veneers. The popularity of paulownia wooden boards has been on the increase in recent years with technology playing a part in producing a quality product. Paulownia is the premier wood for producing surfboards, longboards, paddle boards… because it has a good weight to strength ratio, is very light and absorbs less salt water than many other types of wood. A further attraction with paulownia wooden boards is the small environmental impact compared with fiberglass products, which are recognized as pollutants with long decomposition time. The shape is capable of handling the surf zone and flat water paddling conditions with efficiency for the user. It works well in the surf and the length makes it possible to paddle into small or large waves. In flat water conditions the glide of the 11'0 & 11'6 will be greater than the shorter SUP boards. All our All Around models offer stability for flat water cruising to dynamic ocean surf and everything else in between. Its refined nose concave leads to the bulk of the volume where you’re standing comfortly. The shape foils out to the V in the tail that allows it to turn easily. Everything works well together allowing it to paddle well and surf well. |

HEATED COMPRESSION MOLDED TECHNOLOGY: All of the VESL boards feature the most advanced compression molding technology. The superiority of molded boards is better strength and durability with lighter weight. The average board weight has been reduced by 2 to 3.5 lbs. Based on the different sizes the board strenght has been enhanced by 25-30%. The rails, nose and tail are reinforced and unidirectional kevlar / bamboo standing patch has also been added.
